Jejuri Khandoba Temple
Jejuri is known for the Khandoba Temple, which is one of the most significant shrines of Maharashtra state. Dedicated to Lord Khandoba, this temple is located on top of a hill and can be reached by climbing around 200 steps. Outside the main entrance of the temple, you will see stone elephants while the courtyard of the temple has carved arches and aisles. There is also an ornate mandapa and a garbhagriha.
Within the sanctum sanctorum, you can see the idol of Sri Khandoba. Within the temple, there are three weapons too- sword, a damaru and a paral, each with their historical significance.

Moreshwar Temple
This temple is located only 17 km from Jejuri and deserves to be explored on your trip to Jejuri. Dedicated to Lord Mayureshwar/ Lord Ganesha, it is considered to be one among the Ashta Vinayak temples. This ancient temple is built in black stone with 4 towers and has a 50 feet tall wall surrounding it. Next to the main idol are the statues of Lord Ganesha’s consorts, Goddess Ridhi and Goddess Siddhi. There are many small shrines within the temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Vishnu, Lord Rama, Goddess Sita.
Fort Jadhavgadh
Located 23 km from Jejuri, this fort is more than 300 years old. It was built in 1710 CE as a residence by Sri Pilaji Jadhavrao. It stands majestically on top of a hill, with a height of 2511 feet above sea level. Once at the fort, you will be mesmerised by the view of Diva Ghat. At present, it has been converted into a 5 star heritage resort by Dr. Vithal Kamat’s Group of Hotels.
